Why am I getting an ink low error if my cartridge is full?

The first thing you should try is pressing OK/Cancel/Dismiss/Stop/Resume/etc. on your printer to simply continue printing.

If you are still getting this error after trying this, even after you've replaced your cartridge, there may be internal electrical damage to the cartridge. There is typically no error for this issue, so your printer will typically just indicate the ink is low. However, if you already replaced your cartridge and tried a few basic troubleshooting steps, the cartridge may be defective. Check the cartridge for damage or missing parts. If you find any of these problems or even if you don't, you will want to return the new cartridge where you purchased it from and replace it with a new one. If you are using a refill kit to refill your cartridges, it's important to note that you will, eventually, need to replace the cartridges, as they will wear over time causing the same ink refill error.

Are these ink cartridges name brand or generic?

OEM cartridges and toners come with the quality and reliability you have come to expect from the manufacturers of these products.

We only offer the highest quality generic brands of cartridges and toners, and guarantee that they perform with the same quality as the OEM's, while costing just a fraction of the price. If for any reason you are unhappy with any of the products you received, please contact our customer service center about a refund.

Do I have to remove the clear tape covering the vent hole or where the ink comes out?

This clear tape is intended to protect the ink cartridges from leaking, which means that there's NO NEED for you to remove it before installing the cartridge to you printer. Your printer will automatically puncture this clear tape upon installation.

Are these inks weatherproof or can be used outdoor?

Most of our inks are not weatherproof and cannot be used outdoors. Regular ink would not be able to last long under sunlight as the UV radiation outdoors will make ink fade faster. On a cold weather, our ink will expand as it freezes since most of it are water-based. This can crack ink cartridges due to the pressure caused by the ink expansion.

If you are looking for ink cartridges that can be used outdoors, the solvent-based ones are the best choice for you.

Some of your cartridges are labeled "XL". What does that mean, and will it still work if I have a regular cartridge?

An XL cartridge is also known as a high yield cartridge. They generally have a greater volume of ink than a regular cartridge while usually being the same size cartridge. For almost all printers, the XL version of a cartridge is compatible.

What is the shelf life of the cartridges?

Our cartridges come fresh from the factory each month and have a tested shelf life of at least 20 months!

How long will it take to get my cartridges?

With standard shipping, cartridges generally arrive anywhere within 2 to 10 business days from fulfillment. The delivery time frame is dependent on the shipping method you choose at checkout and whether you are located outside the US or not. Most orders offer anywhere from standard to next-day shipping for orders in the US. Additionally, most orders placed before 2:00 PM Pacific time Monday through Friday, will be processed the same day. Any orders placed after that time will process the next business day.

What is a compatible cartridge?

Compatible cartridges are non-OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) cartridges. They are manufactured by a third party factory to meet or exceed OEM specifications. The difference between a compatible and a remanufactured cartridge is that compatibles are not made from recycled cartridge parts, while remanufactured are.

Each printer cartridge is carefully researched, manufactured, and tested. New compatible cartridges are added to our list on a regular basis.
